37-storey residential building and hotel proposed in Liberty Village

If all goes to developer plans, Liberty Village could see a new hotel and residential tower erected near King Street West.

The real estate developer Hullmark has proposed constructing a 37-storey, mixed-use building within the Toronto Carpet Factory campus at 1187 King St. W.

The proposal suggests construction of two new structures at the southeast corner of the campus — a 37-storey tower at 70 to 82 Fraser Avenue and a two to three-storey commercial building at 100 Liberty St.
