Mr. Gluskin is President & Chief Investment Officer of
Gluskin Sheff + Associates Inc.
After graduating from the
University of Toronto with a
Bachelor of Commerce degree in
1964, he joined the investment department
of Canada Life.
Five years later, Mr. Gluskin joined MGF Management, a mutual
fund company. In 1972, he moved to Brown Baldwin Nisker (now HSBC Canada
Inc.). Over the
next twelve years,
Mr. Gluskin developed an
international reputation as one
of Canada's leading securities analysts.
In 1983, he
became president of BBN and in 1984, he co-founded Gluskin Sheff.
He has been an advisor to many of Canada's major corporations and is active in community and cultural
organizations. He is currently on the Board
of Governors of Mount Sinai Hospital and on the Board of Directors of the University of Toronto Asset
Management Corporation. Mr. Gluskin is
noted for his outspoken and
provocative views on all aspects of business
and on the securities and real estate sectors, in particular. He has
been a regular columnist for both the Financial Times and the Financial
Post.
